Title: Toward a New Paradigm for Wi-Fi over Multiple Frequency Bands
Committee:

Abstract: The objective of the proposed research is to design novel algorithms and protocols in support of developing a new and powerful paradigm for Wi-Fi over multiple frequency bands. The preliminary research includes the use of a microwave band for line-of-sight (LOS) discovery for a millimeter-wave band in a network where access point mobility is supported. The proposed research involves the combination of microwave and millimeter-wave measurements for Wi-Fi sensing and the utilization of multi-link operation (MLO) across different frequency bands for ultra-low latency (ULL) Wi-Fi.
