There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Title: High Fidelity Localization of Energy Autonomous mmIDs for Future Cyber-Physical Systems
Committee:

Abstract: The objective of the proposed research is to develop a novel 5G/mm-Wave-enabled mmID systems for energy autonomous, highly scalable next generation localization systems. In order to achieve this, the development of an ultra-low-cost, compact, high-fidelity 60 GHz mmID localization and a retro-directive fully-passive harmonic through the use of a dual Rotman lens architecture, and finally a 3D lens-based mmID is proposed in order to enable high-gain and coverage in multiple axes to provide a paradigm shift in long-range, ultra-low-power mmID architectures.
