No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Longtime Library employee and Public Services Assistant Derrick Foster recently received a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB) Staff Fellowship.
As part of the Keen-funded fellowship, Foster will implement a transformative project for undergraduates to increase the number of Black, Latin, first-generation, and limited-income undergraduates.
“Derrick has a long history of contributing his unique and insightful voice to the Library’s work,” said John Mack Freeman, Head of Public Services Librarian. “I’m excited for him to have this opportunity to share his insights on storytelling and effective communication to students through this staff fellowship.”
