Title: Online Decision-Making Under Information-Theoretic Security Constraints
Committee:

Abstract: The objective of the proposed research is to bridge the gap between theories of physical layer security and theories of online decision-making algorithms. The approach is motivated by control systems in which the actions taken by controllers often result in unavoidable information leakage. Specifically, we propose to study online decision-making under information-theoretic security constraints in two contexts, namely, sequential hypothesis testing and multi-arm bandits.
