There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Georgia Tech ADVANCE Professors and Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are pleased to announce the return of implicit bias workshops for the Spring 2023 semester.
Pursuant to Provost McLaughlin’s July 2021 memo to academic leaders, all faculty who serve on reappointment, promotion, and/or tenure committees, and faculty search committees are required to participate in an implicit bias workshop.
Tenured/Tenure Track faculty participating in search and evaluation processes should refresh their implicit bias training every three years at a minimum. If you participated in an implicit bias workshop within the past three years (Spring 2020-Fall 2022), you are exempt from this requirement until Fall 2023 at the earliest (depending upon the semester and year of previous training). If you have not participated in an implicit bias workshop since Fall 2019, you are now due to retake it.
All workshops will be held from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Space is limited and registration is required to attend.
IDEI will also be offering implicit bias workshops for search committees throughout the year for staff, as well as other academic and research faculty. Details and Spring semester dates for these workshops can be found HERE.
GTRI research faculty should register for a GTRI implicit bias workshop via Quest LMS. For assistance, please contact Organizational Development Manager, Sarah Cockrell (sarah.cockrell@gtri.gatech.edu), or Course Facilitator, Akida Nurse (akida.nurse@gtri.gatech.edu).
