There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Georgia Tech alumnus and Astronaut Eric A. Boe spoke at the Georgia Tech Student Center Theater in 2009. He is pictured with Gary May (left), chair of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering and incoming dean of the College of Engineering, and Don Giddens (right), dean of the College of Engineering, who is retiring in June.

Fourteen Georgia Tech graduates are NASA astronauts, including Boe, who piloted the final flight of Discovery in May, and Sandra Magnus, who will be a mission specialist on Atlantis’ final flight later this month.
