Title: Machine Learning Approaches for Knowledge Discovery in Nanophotonic Structures
Committee:
Dr. Adibi, Advisor
Dr. Klein, Chair
Dr. Zhou
Abstract: The objective of this research proposal is to utilize machine learning approaches for efficient inverse design and knowledge discovery in nanophotonics. The aim is to develop methods that enable finding the physics behind the input-output relation, the role and importance of the input parameters, and the input-output relation complexity of different classes of nanophotonic structures.
