Title: Robust Detection and Analysis of Cardio-Mechanical Signals Using Novel Synthetic Generation and Denoising Techniques
Committee:
Dr. Inan, Advisor
Dr. Heck, Chair
Dr. Kamaleswaran
Abstract: The objective of the proposed research focuses on (1) designing algorithms for enhancing cardiac information in SCG signals to detect cardiac events in real-time, and (2) designing deep denoising algorithms (based on auto-encoders) to remove external vibration noise such as walking, running, or vehicle vibrations from SCG signals.
