The Metaverse is the new buzzword for the future of the internet but what is it, really? Is understanding it important, and how is it being approached about across different industries, academics, and generations?

Join us on November 8th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM for a panel dialogue that peels back the Metaverse and unearths the social, technological, industry, and Gen-Z perspectives on this emerging frontier. In addition, the panel will address why young designers should be educated on the Metaverse. Most importantly, we will discuss what a designer's role is in the future of Metaverse experiences.

Panelists include: Industry professionals from Magic Leap and Cognizant, alongside Georgia Tech faculty researcher and students. The panel will explore attitudes, opportunities, inhibitions, inherent contradictions, and commonalities latent within these different perspectives.
