Reporting administratively to the Vice President for Student Engagement & Well-Being, this inaugural position serves as the lead coordinating administrator to ensure the successful implementation of the goals and action strategies in Georgia Tech’s Cultivate Well-Being Action & Transformation Roadmaps in support of one of the six focus areas of the Institute’s Strategic Plan. One Roadmap focuses on enhancing student health, wellness, and well-being and is ready for implementation starting August 2022; the other focuses on that of faculty and staff, including undergraduate and graduate student employees, and will be available in January 2023.
Consistent with the collective impact framework, this position serves to provide the backbone support essential to successful social change efforts. Working in close consultation and collaboration with all cabinet areas, colleges, divisions and departments – as well as shared governance entities, community and governmental partners – the incumbent will foster inter-organizational partnerships and provide change management coordination, facilitation, and support with broad independent latitude, in a manner that reflects sound tactical acumen and the strategic values of Georgia Tech.
