No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Biosketch: Dr. Christal Gordon is an IEEE Senior Engineer and past Chair of the Washington DC/Northern Virginia IEEE Sensors Council. She currently advises the Government in the area of microelectronics research funding. She has also received two gold medals from iGem in the area of synthetic biology. In addition to technical contributions, Dr. Gordon is strongly committed to expanding the understanding of science and technology to the general public through citizen science efforts at venues like the Maker Faire, New York Museum of Science, and South by Southwest. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, with a minor in neuroscience, and a B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Polytechnic University.
