About Karen Cvitkovich

Karen has worked for over fifteen years partnering with senior leaders and global teams in various organizations including universities, companies, and non-profits.  By combining her knowledge of the Culture Map, key challenges people experience when they work across cultures and her research from her three books on global leadership, she tailors Culture Map sessions to include the impact of culture on collaborating and leading globally.

Session Information
Whether from Sãu Paulo or Cairo, Bogatá or Boston, Mexico City or Santiago, we are all part of a global network – not just in the office, classroom, or labs, but virtually as well - where success requires navigating through the different cultural realities of how people think and get things done in the global context. Unless we know how to decode other cultures and avoid easy-to-fall-into cultural traps, we can miscommunicate with our students and colleagues. This session will give you concrete information on how culture impacts global interactions, and key strategies to overcome differences to reach your goals.
