Summaries

Summary Sentence: Interested in international security, nonproliferation, or nuclear security? Learn about undergraduate and graduate internships, fellowships, and degree programs in these areas!

Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

The Nunn School invites you to come learn about unique and innovative nonproliferation training programs designed to encourage diverse populations to consider careers in this field and align to train future leaders to combat the spread of weapons of mass destruction.

A representative from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies will be visiting to discuss graduate programs in International Security (nonproliferation, counterterrorism, cybersecurity), Environmental Policy, International Development, and Linguistics. Information will also be shared about internships through the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS).

CNS offers a paid undergraduate fellowship opportunity at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey every summer. This fellowship offers on-the-job training during the summer for undergraduate students in nonproliferation studies. Participants conduct research on issues related to the spread and control of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), including: nuclear, chemical and biological weapons, and regional security issues in the former Soviet Union, Eurasia, East Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. In addition to working on ongoing projects at CNS, undergraduate fellows may develop their own research projects under the guidance of senior CNS faculty.
