There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The trend of miniaturization is gaining momentum, as the demand for smaller and smaller parts for consumer electronics, medical devices, robotics, and life sciences grows. One of the new frontiers in Additive Manufacturing (AM) is the production of high-resolution, high-accuracy microstructures for industrial applications. These parts are not only difficult to prototype using existing 3D printers, but they are also often much more expensive and complicated to manufacture. Micro-Precision 3D Printing powered by PµSL technology delivers micro parts with the resolution, accuracy, and precision suitable for complex, intricate parts – with a speed that meets the needs for end-use production. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to see Georgia Tech’s micro 3D printer in action.
During this lunch you will learn:
