From https://www.bme.gatech.edu/bme/news/wang-named-ieee-fellow: Dr. May Dongmei Wang comes from a family of scientists and engineers, so she has long known the prestige and hard work signified by fellowship in IEEE. That makes her elevation to the professional organization’s Grade of Fellow in 2022 the fulfillment of a lifelong aspiration.

From https://miblab.bme.gatech.edu/: The Bio-MIBLab partners with two computing industry giants, Hewlett Packard and Microsoft Research, to establish not only a strong computing infrastructure, but also to fulfill long term goals through research collaborations.

The Bio-MIBLab is also part of the Winship Institute and ACTSI at Emory University.
