Join the Ballroom Dance Club for beginner lessons! Once a week in the CRC, we teach two dances - one Smooth and one Rhythm - for 3 weeks until we move onto the next dances. Your first lesson is always free, but after that, we do require paying social dues for a standard membership, which also includes a t-shirt. To make sign-in easier, go ahead and make an account on our website at http://ballroomdance.gtorg.gatech.edu/index.php beforehand.
After the lesson (9:00-10:35), stick around for a mini-social dance (until 11:00) where you can practice what you learned and see the rest of the dances!
By the end of the semester, you will have learned the basics of Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, and Hustle! No dance experience, partner, costume, or shoes required!
