The Georgia Tech Faculty Women’s Club (GTFWC) has been active since its first iteration in the 1920’s and offers activities that draw community members together for friendship and shared passions and interests. The club exists to promote the values of friendship, scholarship and service. Community service activities are ongoing, and every year, scholarships are awarded to Georgia Tech students with a parent who is employed at Georgia Tech.
Originally formed as a social group for wives of male faculty members, membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the Georgia Tech community and the mission of the GTFWC. If interested in joining us, please consider attending the kick-off to the 2022-23 year at our annual Open House event at the Beverly.
RSVP to gtfwc1921@gmail.com.
About the venue: The Beverly is not far from Georgia Tech and major interstates, and it has plenty of parking. It’s co-owned by a GT graduate and a Morehouse graduate. Many of the restaurant menu items and beverages are locally procured, with an emphasis on women and minority-owned businesses. The Beverly is located at 790 Glenwood Ave SE, Ste 260, Atlanta, GA 30316
