This event will feature the following representatives to discuss their roles and experience with the engineering consulting company: 

Francisco Arriaga

Francisco Arriaga serves as an Assistant Electrical Engineer specializing in substation design, emphasizing in protection & control, physical design, and relay settings. With nearly 3.5 years of experience, Francisco helps lead teams for several large utilities in the Southeast, including Southern Company, Duke Energy, Dominion Energy, and Santee Cooper. During his time away from work, he enjoys mentoring students and serving as a voice for underrepresented groups. 

Ajinkya Patil

Ajinkya Patil serves as Technical Advisory Consultant specializing in Distribution and Transmission planning. Ajinkya has spent nearly 4 years performing Distribution Planning studies for various Independent Owned Utilities (Eversource, AEP, Duke-Carolinas, Georgia Power) and for various co-op’s spread across the country. His work mainly involves performing simulation studies on the distribution and transmission systems to help utilities integrate new and upcoming technologies into their grid. During his time away from work, Ajinkya is a semi-professional table tennis player, avid hiker and enjoys cooking different cuisines.

Evan Hopf

Evan Hopf serves as an Assistant Department Manager for the Networks, Integration & Automation team in Atlanta and Chattanooga. Evan has five years of experience designing and deploying wired and wireless private networks for utilities and carriers. His technical areas of focus include MPLS, MW radio, DWDM, and SONET networks. In his free time, Evan enjoys running, reading, and fishing.
