The School of History and Sociology welcomes Saida Grundy, assistant professor of sociology and African American studies at Boston University, on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022. Grundy will speak on the topic “Lifting the Veil on the Morehouse Man: The Paradox and Problems of ‘Fixing’ College Black Men” followed by a Q&A session.  Anyone in the Georgia Tech community having an interest in the topics of gender, masculinity and racialization, respectability politics, and the Black middle class as a social formation is encouraged to attend.
