There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The School of History and Sociology welcomes Justin Castro, professor of history at Arkansas State University, on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022. Castro will speak on the topic “Mining, Sugar, and Textiles: A Reexamination of Sociotechnological and Environmental Transformation in Colonial Latin America” followed by a Q&A session. Anyone in the Georgia Tech community having an interest in the topics of the history of technology, environmental history, and Latin American history is encouraged to attend.
