Full Summary: No summary paragraph submitted.

Long after the legal systems of discrimination and oppression were abolished in the United States, the centuries of mistreatment of People of Color have significantly impacted current generations.  When people are marginalized over a period of time, their internal view of themselves shifts. People of Color can begin to believe the myths and misinformation other societal groups believe and communicate about their group. More importantly, People of Color can target members of their own group. It’s time to heal. This workshop will focus on the work of Dr. Joy DeGruy’s, Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome: America’s Legacy of Enduring Injury and Healing. Let the Healing Begin.
