Three alumni of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts have been named to the 2022 class of 40 Under 40. The annual program, sponsored by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, showcases how Tech graduates impact every industry worldwide and work to improve the way we live through their diligence and expertise from an early age.

This year’s Ivan Allen College inductees are:

“This has quickly become one of my favorite traditions,” says Alumni Association president Dene Sheheane. “The opportunity to recognize alumni who are taking strides to improve the world we live in is such an honor for our organization. I know we will learn from and be inspired by this dynamic group of young leaders.”

Kenji Takeuchi, a judge of this year’s nominees, notes that, “While reviewing these applications, I was filled with inspiration, motivation and even filled with deep emotions from my amazement and admiration. I am so proud to be associated with these fellow Georgia Tech alumni and humbled by their level of passion and impact in their industry, company and community. Each and every candidate did this through their exemplary leadership, innovations and commitment to service.”

Nominees, who must have completed at least one semester at Georgia Tech and be under the age of 40 as of June 30, 2022, were scored using a 25-point rubric by a committee of 24 faculty, staff, and volunteers who collectively represented all Georgia Tech colleges.

The Alumni Association is proud to celebrate this exceptional class of Jackets who have done the impossible; from furthering space exploration to revolutionizing healthcare, these individuals have made the Tech community proud to call them alumni.
