On Saturday, May 14th, the Prevention Research Center at Georgia State Universitya CDC-funded entity that works to address the public health disparities of refugees and immigrants in Clarkston, hosted the Clarkston Summit 2022. The event was co-sponsored by Emory University's Office of Global Strategy and Initiatives, the Atlanta Global Studies Center, and the City of Clarkston. 

The event was featured in a story on CBS46/WGCL and in The Champion, an online news source for DeKalb County.
