Professor Laurie Garrow is an expert in aviation and travel behavior analysis and forecasting. Ironically, Laurie didn’t take her first flight until she was in college, but she instantly fell in love with it. With a background in civil engineering, she gravitated toward transportation because it involved people. She is fascinated by the nuances of travel decision-making and passionate about using big data to predict air travel choices, and she offers original insights into airline operations, consumer behaviors, travel data, and policy for traditional commercial service and emerging urban air mobility applications.
