Ironically, Laurie didn’t take her first flight until she was in college, but she instantly fell in love with it. With a background in civil engineering, she gravitated toward transportation because it involved people. She is fascinated by the nuances of travel decision-making and passionate about using big data to predict air travel choices, and she offers original insights into airline operations, consumer behaviors, travel data, and policy.
