Philip Auslander, professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, published the article “Ragnar Kjartansson and the Art of Pleasure” in PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art. In the article, Auslander analyzes Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson's nine-channel video installation The Visitors, which The Guardian called “the best artwork of the century so far.” The Migros Museum in Zürich commissioned The Visitors in 2012, and since its successful debut, it has traveled around the world.
