Join the Climate and Energy Policy Laboratory and the School of Public Policy in hearing from Cory Struthers, assistant professor at the University of Georgia (UGA). She will give a 30-minute talk followed by a question and answer section.
About the Speaker
Cory Struthers joined the Department of Public Administration and Policy at UGA as assistant professor in 2020. Struthers studies how public demands, scientific information, special interests, and institutional settings shape policymakers’ decisions on climate and the environment. Her work has been published in the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, American Politics Research, and Current Opinion on Environmental Sustainability. Before arriving at UGA, she was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Forest Resources at the University of Minnesota, a member of the Center for Environmental Policy and Behavior at the UC Davis, and received her Ph.D. in Political Science from UC Davis in 2018. Struthers is a California native enjoying the south and is raising two boys under three.
