Teachers follow the New Horizons’ Curriculum guides within the methodology of SIOP (Sheltered Instruction for Learners of Other Languages), which places considerable emphasis on the teaching and learning of academic vocabulary as well as lesson content. There is intensive use of technology in all classrooms, and students all have either a tablet (pre-school - 6th grade) or personal laptops (grades 7-12). Many textbooks are digital, and homework, extra material and most assessments are accomplished using the platform Moodle. New Horizons has developed its own communication and grading system software to use with parents and students.
