There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Tech relies solely on faculty and staff to conduct hearings into allegations of sexual misconduct involving students.
To serve on a Sexual Misconduct Hearing Panel, faculty and staff first receive training on Title IX, Georgia Tech’s investigation and resolution process, definitions of prohibited conduct and consent, evaluating evidence, and decision making.
USG is offering this training virtually on April 25, 2022 from 8:30 am-12:30 pm AND April 26, 2022 from 8:30 am-12:30 pm. Attendance at both sessions is required. Please consider helping our students by taking the training and serving as a hearing panelist.
