Congratulations to Whitney Buser, who will be promoted to senior academic professional this summer! Buser is currently an academic professional and the associate director of academic programs in the School of Economics.
She has published and presented research on gender differences in financial literacy, performance evaluation, confidence in mathematical abilities, and participation in academic discussions. Further research interests include behavioral economics and formal and informal institutional impacts on policy and economic wellbeing.
Before joining the faculty at Georgia Tech in 2020, Buser was the Chair of the Business and Public Policy Department at Young Harris College and an associate professor of economics.
Congratulations, Whitney, on the well-deserved promotion!
