No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Office of the Executive Vice President for Research is partnering with the Library to host a Faculty Book Event.

The purpose of this event and other activities planned for the next academic year is to celebrate our faculty’s publications and to showcase the range and depth of scholarship taking place on our campus. We will feature four faculty authors at this inaugural event:

  1. André Brock - Distributed Blackness: African American Cybercultures
  2. Amy Bruckman - Should You Believe Wikipedia? Online Communities and the Construction of Knowledge
  3. David Sholl - Success and creativity in scientific research amaze your friends and surprise yourself  
  4. Rachel Whitlark - All Options on the Table. Leaders, Preventive War, and Nuclear Proliferation
