No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Office of the EVPR is partnering with the Library to host a Faculty Book Event on April 26 from 4:30-6:00pm in the Scholars Event Theater in the Price Gilbert Library.

This is an open invitation to campus to celebrate our faculty’s publications and to showcase the range and depth of scholarship taking place on our campus.  Please plan to come celebrate your colleagues with us.  RSVP.

The four faculty authors we are featuring at this inaugural event are:

  • André Brock - Distributed Blackness: African American Cybercultures
  • Amy Bruckman - Should You Believe Wikipedia? Online Communities and the Construction of Knowledge
  • David Sholl - Success and creativity in scientific research amaze your friends and surprise yourself  
  • Rachel Whitlark - All Options on the Table. Leaders, Preventive War, and Nuclear Proliferation
