There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The OSNAP (Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program) observing system, in place since 2014, provides a continuous record of the full-water column, trans-basin fluxes of heat, mass and freshwater in the subpolar North Atlantic. The first six-years of this time series have revealed surprising results on the mean and variability of the overturning circulation in the subpolar North Atlantic. In my talk I will review these results and discuss how they have reframed the investigation of climate variability in the North Atlantic.
