Tell us about what you do in Modern Languages.

I provide IT support for the faculty and staff.

Who had the greatest influence on your education and/or career path?

I would have to say that my dad influenced my career path the most.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

Interacting with the wonderful ML faculty and staff.

Why did you decide to work at Georgia Tech, and what's the best part about working here?

My wife works at Agnes Scott College and always told me how wonderful working in higher ed is. The best part about working at Georgia Tech is that no one day is the same as the last.

What moment in Modern Languages/at Georgia Tech stands out as the most memorable?

When Modern Languages and Atlanta Global Studies Center (AGSC) put on the first ever AGSC symposium. It was a huge event with lots of working parts and it surprisingly all fell together perfectly.

Do you have any advice for Modern Languages students at Georgia Tech?

Take advantage of the Language for Business and Technology (LBAT) programs that Modern Languages offers. Nothing can replace traveling and experiencing other cultures.

When you're not working, what do you like to do?

My wife and I are expecting our first child, so we are deep into nursery prep.

If you weren't doing this, what would you be doing?

Most likely be a stay-at-home dog dad for our two dogs and soon to be baby.

Do you have an outstanding student, faculty member, staff member, or alumni you'd like to see spotlighted? Nominate them here.
