You have a great idea. Now what?

Join us for an in-person and online workshop on how to leverage and research patents and intellectual property (IP).

Examine technology landscapes and key players, conduct competitive intelligence on companies, and uncover areas of untapped potential. Using an AI-based semantic search and intelligence platform, InnovationQ Plus® increases your confidence in searching for IP, understanding the landscape, and identifying ways to monetize ideas.

Led by Tony Christopher, a product specialist from IP.com, this workshop is designed for engineers, researchers, professors, and students looking for best practices in:

• Identifying strategic partners or potential competitors

• Searching existing technologies and patent documents

• Searching non-patent literature with global patent databases

• Managing patent portfolios to prioritize research, collaboration, and investments

• Identifying competitive positioning and litigation in industries

• Making business decisions around competitive intelligence

Facilitated by the Georgia Tech Library, this workshop is ideal for Georgia Tech students, researchers, faculty, and staff (Georgia Tech only).

A concurrent online session will be arranged to supplement the in-person event. Please indicate your preference when registering.

Schedule:

10-11 a.m.: Experts led workshop

11-11:30 a.m.: Q&A

Please note:

  1. InnovationQ Plus is available only to current Georgia Tech students, faculty, staff and researchers.
  2. There are limited seats in the classroom. If you like to attend in person, please register early.
