Geekapalooza is the tour of the 2011 Georgia Tech Finalists for the National College Stand-Up Competition, sponsored by TBS and Rooftop Comedy. Though the Georgia Tech team did not advance to the Ultimate 8 round, the tour continues with this performance.

The 2011 Georgia Tech Finalists:

  • Hari Gopal is 4th-year business administration major from Marietta, Ga. He's been doing comedy since high school — loves the Institute, loves baseball and hates meat (because he is a vegetarian).
  • David Jaffe is a mechanical engineering major with extensive experience as a camp couselor. His young campers find him strangely hilarious and hilariously strange.
  • Matty Litwack is a graduating nuclear engineer from Maryland who plans to continue graduate studies at Georgia Tech. He lived in Sweden while working at a particle accelerator. Matty has four older brothers who keep him in check, and help him fight crime...one jaywalker at a time.
  • Jamie Ward studies computational media, which is fancy word for MS Paint. But he prefers to spend every free moment writing jokes. Since he started performing stand-up, he's been the Laughing Skull's resident comic and a funny guy.

Pete Ludovice is your host for Geekapalooza. Tech Engineering Prof. by day and comedian by night, he is the host of Inside the Black Box on WREK-Atlanta and director of the Think Big program on Humor and Innovation.
