There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

After reading more than 100 submissions to the This I Believe at Tech contest from students of all majors and years, the selection committee chose a group of finalists and presenters who showcase the personality and diversity of Tech's student body. Please enjoy the essays from our contest finalists, which are now available on the This I Believe at Tech website. Each of these students produced essays of great depth and quality!
To hear more great essays from Tech students, come support the winners of the contest when they read their essays aloud at our event night on April 21, 2011 from 6:00-7:00pm at Under the Couch in the Student Center! The event will feature light refreshments and moving, at times humorous, but always personal, belief statements by the following students:
Michael Braun, ME – I Believe in the Beauty of Life
Mallory Skelton, PSY – I Believe in Acceptance
Jay Danner, CompE – I Believe in Sidewalk Waltzes
Erin McPherson, PSY – I Believe in Words
We look forward to seeing you there!
