  • Spoon Lake Blues, Alliance Theatre
Brady and Denis have found one easy solution to save their house from the bank: burglary. Then, one night Brady steals a picture of a woman who is everything he is not – educated, wealthy, upwardly mobile, and African-American. And with that, a brazen new caper is born… leaving no stones, stereotypes, or septic tanks unturned.
  • August: Osage County
, Alliance Theatre
Think your family has issues? This raucous dark comedy transforms one family gathering into an evening of can’t-turn-away blood sport – filled with sex, secrets, and REALLY inappropriate behavior. Revel in this searing and corrosive family trainwreck featuring an ensemble of Atlanta’s favorite actors as you’ve never seen them before . . . like, say, cat-fighting at a funeral.
  • Tchaikovsky & Schumann, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
The thrilling Overture to Verdi’s opera, The Force of Destiny, is perhaps his most popular orchestral work. Tchaikovsky’s virtuoso concerto is a beacon for daring violinists such as Mr. Krylov, an emerging Russian star. Schumann’s Fourth is a taut and integrated drama, with riveting and recurring themes darting in and out.

More information on these performances is available from the Woodruff Arts Center.

Students can attend many more performances at the Woodruff Arts Center for free with purchase of the Woodruff Arts Center Student Pass. This $20 pass allows for free entry to events with the High Museum, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Alliance Theatre with ticket reservations.
