Congratulations to 2021 Ph.D. graduate Sooa Lee, who accepted a research assistant professor position at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST)! The prestigious university is ranked #4 in South Korea by U.S. News & World Report.
Lee will work at the Center for Global Strategies and Planning at KAIST, where she will be "studying, planning, and managing international collaborative S&T [science and technology] programs such as triple-helix modelled global campuses or start-up incubation centers," she wrote.
As a Ph.D. student in the School of History and Sociology, Lee's dissertation focused on cross-national university knowledge sharing and production in South Korea.
