Cities of Peace Roundtable: From Atlanta to Hiroshima

Join us for a roundtable conversation with speakers from Hiroshima Peace Institute and the Carter Center. What does it mean to be a “city of peace,” and how is it different in Atlanta and Hiroshima? What is the importance of SDG #16: Peace, Justice, & Strong Institutions? Moderated by Dr. Greg Zinman, School of Literature, Media & Communication and co-sponsored by Japan Foundation and GT Library. This event is hybrid. Please register below to attend the roundtable either in-person or online.

This year the Global Media Fest will explore United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #16, which states that  “conflict, insecurity, weak institutions and limited access to justice remain a great threat to sustainable development.” (United Nations)
