There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. For our second Rendezvous, we will quickly cover housekeeping topics from the first meeting, move into a French Conversation-focused icebreaker activity, and then start playing games. We are bringing some board games as well as virtual games that will be great French-speaking practice and also a great way to take a break from classes. We will have French versions of: Codenames, Kilucru, Scrabble, Bombparty, Catch Phrase, Wikipedia Races, Skribbl.io, and playing cards.
If you have a game (playable in French) you'd like to share with the French Club, you are welcome to bring it as well- the more the merrier!
We will have free sweets! The meeting will take place in Skiles 368 from 6:45-8:00 PM on Thursday, February 3rd.
