There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Percussion Ensembles are both a traditional concert ensemble that studies classic and contemporary literature, as well as transcriptions of standard, jazz and popular styles and often present new percussion performance practices in a contemporary medium through the use of electronically triggered devices and staging. This combination of elements unites aural and visual entertainment with a uniquely creative twist. Virtually any surface becomes the canvas from which performers paint aural images.
Admission is free and open to the public.
