There are certain things you’ve come to associate with spring: warmer temperatures, baseball and in recent years, the annual Tech employee ethics refresher.

Each spring, all employees — faculty, staff, temporary or student — are asked to refresh their understanding of ethical behavior standards by reviewing the Board of Regents (BOR) ethics policy and demonstrating an understanding of the policy.

“As an institution, we are defined by the ethical behavior of every faculty and staff member and research and student employee,” said Marita Sullivan, senior director of Human Resources. “Ensuring that everyone is on the same page is vital to our success.”

All employees are required to review the online materials and complete an online assessment before April 15. The refresher should only take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
