There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Join us on 2/3 for an informational webinar to learn more about PIN's 2022 Smart Community Corps Summer Internship Program.
The Smart Community Corps (SCC) is the first statewide effort of its kind for civic-minded students to gain hands-on smart city experience. Working as a summer cohort and in community pairs, interns are place into project sites to support innovation work that is dedicated to creating livable and equitable communities. The program is part of the Partnership for Inclusive Innovation (PIN), a public private partnership launched in 2020 to lead coordinated, statewide efforts to position Georgia as the Technology Capital of the East Coast.
In addition to a full-time summer stipend of 8k, SCC interns are provided curriculum programming in sustainability, innovation, career development and mentorship. The program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students of any major.
