Dr. Peter Meenan has taught economics at the master's level in the Georgia Tech Economics Department for the past five years. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University and an M.A. and B.A. in Economics from Fordham University, and also has a Chartered Financial Analyst certification. Professor Meenan is retiring in May 2022 as a Principal and transfer pricing economist at Deloitte Tax LLP, with eleven years of experience abroad. Professor Meenan and his wife have one son who is a junior in Auburn's aviation program. They also have three golden retrievers
Prof. Slieper is the Director of Georgia Tech’s Law, Science, and Technology Program, which includes the LST Minor, Pre-Law and IP Certificates, and pre-law efforts. He is a Georgia Tech alum, having been one of the first ten graduates of the Public Policy B.S., and a graduate of Emory University School of Law. He served as a medical ethicist at The UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, directed in Global Health Law at Emory University, and worked on professional ethics for two global law firms. In his free time, Prof. Slieper enjoys spending time with his partner Matthew, their stubborn yet adorable Staffordshire Terrier Lily, baking, and being near the ocean whenever possible.
