Founded in 1930, the Ramblin' Reck Club is Georgia Tech's spirit and traditions organization with a mission to "spread joy" to all members of the GT community. RRC is the main caretaker of the Ramblin' Reck, a 1930 Ford Model A that has served as the Institute's mechanical mascot since 1961. RRC also holds numerous traditions related events on campus, such as the Freshman Cake Race, Mini 500, Ramblin' Wreck Parade, and Traditions Night. Many RRC members can also be found cheering on the Jackets at numerous GT sporting events!
