There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Please fill out this form if you would like to participate in AMSA Olympics x Medicine Madness sponsored by RHA! The American Medical Student Association hosts its annual 3v3 basketball tournament, Medicine Madness on a yearly basis, but this year wants to be more inclusive! Therefore we are hosting the AMSA Olympics, with modified Olympic games. Modified Olympic games include a pool noodle javelin throw, dodgeball, a paper airplane toss, ring toss, and more! It should be lots of fun and require no athleticism!
The event will occur on January 22nd! AMSA Olympics will take place from approximately 9AM to 12PM with lunch and awards served soon after! Medicine Madness will occur in the afternoon following lunch!
Teams will be 3-4 people, but if you do not have a team, do not worry! We will match you with teammates the day of the event! There is no limit to the number of teams for AMSA Olympics, but there is a maximum of 8 teams for Medicine Madness so register early if you want to secure your spot!
