There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Michael Loss, professor in the School of Mathematics, has been selected as secretary for the International Association of Mathematical Physics (IAMP). Loss will serve a three year term to end in 2024. IAMP was founded in 1976 in order to promote research in mathematical physics. IAMP brings together research mathematicians and theoretical physicists, including students. The association's members are individual researchers, although associate membership is available to organizations and companies.
