Institutions of higher education across the US responded to George Floyd’s murder in May 2020 with public statements of commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion – as well as to supporting more anti-racism work. Yet, over one year later, it is not clear that these promises have been realized: commitments to social justice change must be accompanied by the requisite capacities and skills for leading such change. This interactive workshop is designed for senior and executive leaders who work in higher education to be introduced to the core concepts and principles of decolonizing leadership, multicultural organizational development, and other fundamentals critical to delivering on social justice outcomes for their campuses and their students. Participation will be limited to the first 25 individuals to register; a waitlist will be maintained.
