Join experts from Tec de Monterrey for this virtual session on their Global Classroom Collaborative Online International Learning Courses.

Abstract: Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) courses, although they already existed for years, have proved to be an excellent medium for sharing international experiences in times of pandemic. The online collaboration in courses designed and taught jointly by two or more universities to a joint cohort of students has recently allowed a unique approach to focusing efforts on certain subjects, sometimes similar and other complementary ones.

Tec de Monterrey decided to use the SDGs as the objective of its "Global Classroom by Tec de Monterrey" program to raise awareness and bring the reality of the SDGs closer to students, faculty, and international partners.

Although these courses are based on COIL, Tec has developed its own methodology of accompaniment, co-design, faculty training and capacity building to both, COIL model and the insertion of SDGs in the subjects, and finally the co-delivery of these in the last 3 years. Currently, more than 100 courses are offered per semester with more than 50 international partners.
